Drinktender- Job Description
We're looking for Drinktenders at the Triad's only dog park & pub. Love dogs, drinks, good times? You should join the team! We're on a mission to create communities of good dogs and good people through an elevated dog park experience that is as human-friendly as it is dog-friendly.
Primary Purpose: To create warm, welcoming, and fun experiences for our members and guests from check-in to check-out through great customer service and crafting fantastic drinks.

- Hourly, Part Time at $4-5 per hour plus tips, paid bi-weekly via direct deposit

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION- WE ARE A CASH FREE BAR: We are a cashless business. We do not complete ANY cash transactions. All of our customers pay with card or smart pay service. This means you will NOT receive cash tips at the end of your shifts, but your tips are pooled and automatically calculated each day and added to your paycheck. Paychecks are paid bi-weekly. (Our bartenders on average make $14-18 per hour once tips are factored in.)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Be an awesome, friendly, and fun drink tender that creates great experiences for all
- Serve guests responsibly, obeying all laws and requirements to safely and legally serve alcohol in North Carolina
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the space through picking up debris, cleaning after potty accidents, managing slip risks and other safety hazards, re-setting tables and seating areas as they are vacated by wiping down, removing trash, replacing chairs, etc.
- Perform side work and cleaning duties required to keep the bar at Doggos clean and sanitized
- Assist with special events and private event rentals as needed, within your availability.
- Assist with additional tasks and projects as asked by management
Schedule & Shifts:
We're open 2-10p during the week, 12-10p on Sat and 12-9p on Sunday. Hours will be based on your availability and business volume and will require weekends.
Physical Elements:
- Carrying & Lifting: This role involves regular carrying or lifting of items as much as 30lbs in weight, such as bar inventory, 20lb propane tanks, retail supplies, cleaning supplies, as well as moving dog park equipment, furnishings, etc.
- Standing & Walking: This role requires fast-paced walking, standing for long hours and involves kneeling, and squatting, and bending over. -
- Weather: This role requires you to be outdoors for long, continuous periods of time and work in an un-conditioned environment where you may be in direct sunlight and high heat, rain, cold weather, etc.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must love dogs and helping people.
- Must be comfortable in an off-leash play setting with large numbers of dogs of varying breeds, temperaments, sizes, and energy levels.
- Must have good people skills and conflict resolution skills, to help mediate situations that can arise in the dog park when owners disagree about their dog's behavior
- Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the United States
